I was lucky enough to go to China last year, just before the pandemic started. It was everything that I was hoping for and more. The culture was so different from mine, but I was even more convinced that we, as humans, have a basic kindness within us. Everywhere I went, people were happy to help me with instructions, even if we had to do it just by hand signals. The food was my favorite part; it is so rich! You can find anything in the market, although dumplings are still the dish I like the most. The one thing that overwhelmed me a little was the number of lights in big cities; they honestly never sleep. I wonder how the people living in the more touristic and centric parts of these cities manage to get any sleep with such a light show. It looks gorgeous, but I can't help think about the amount of energy spent and the massive light contamination.

This is a sample of the pictures I took from Xi'an so you can travel with me even just for a few seconds.
Thank you for passing by.
